We announced earlier that our 13th annual dinner in 2011 will be held not in May/June but in September instead.

 

The change of annual dinner date this year to September means that it will be spring when the function takes place.  The exact date and venue chosen now is Saturday, 3rd September 2011 at THE EIGHT Modern Chinese Restaurant () on Level 3, Market City in Sydney’s Chinatown.

 

Whilst this is our first annual dinner held in springtime, we trust the warmer weather will definitely be supportive of a more cheerful atmosphere.  Hence, a theme “Spring Is In The Air” () should leave everyone a happy reminder that the lighter season of spring has arrived after the heavy winter.

 

To provide maximum opportunities for CX friends to participate in the function, karaoke singing will be the main feature of the evening.  Our talented CX friends will need to have their signature songs well practised in order to win our singing competition this year.  Certainly, for those who love more than just a practice of the vocal cord, our dancing session will be just as usual.  Please also do not forget that our lucky prize draws will continue to offer the same usual excitement for all.

 

The ticket price is A$50 per person and A$35 per child (aged 5 to 12 years).   Details concerning the venue, time and other information are outlined below.  Please contact your department reps early for your tickets.
